A very handsome example of a rare handbuilt model from the Ducati factory, the iconic 750 supersport. This year model was actually produced in fewer numbers than the 1974 "greenframe" model. Only 249 squarecase 750's were made compared to 401 in he previous years roundcase model. Intended for production racing predominately in Australia, Canada, South Africa and Italy, it was built with scant regard for noise or emissions. The gear shifter was retained on the right and there were no turn signals .It was purely a sporting Motorcycle . This machine retains its original 4777 Borrani rims, 40mm Dellortos. Certainly one of the most striking and aesthetic designs in motorcycling. Ian Falloon describes it as..."the 1975 super sport was one of the finest of all production Ducati motorcycles. It was a stylistic triumph."
